pleading guilty
a group of 5-8 boys from berkeley & mason
it's well known that teenagers find it hard to behave properly. teenagers in california are no different from everyone else- and guess what, they're going to show their dark sides. a group of 5-8 boys from berkeley preparatory and mason high school meet up each week, as they're good friends, and that's what friends do. there are the two mature ones who lead the group, the few who are a bit more daring than the rest and maybe down a few vodkas or smoke a quick cigarette, and then there's the youngest- the most vulnerable of the lot, because he's open to influence from his friends. the boys are usually fine when this happens, but one night one of the more daring boys convinces the youngest to split from the group and hang out somewhere else. the two end up doing some pretty neat graffiti art around the town, but the little party is over when the cops call up. oops! they've been caught! the two run as fast as they can, but end up being arrested. luckily, it's their first offense, and the police let it go without charges. but for the 15 hours that they're held in custody, everyone at school is on edge.
