Izzy sat on the grass behind the gym hall, the sun shining down on her golden skin as she waited for Jinyeon. She had brought a couple of drinks with her and a box of cookies, but she didn't know how long they'd be able to skip lessons before being caught by a teacher... Most likely Mr Orall. She twisted a lock of her hair between her fingers as she waited.

Jinyeon shielded his bloodshot eyes as he walked into the sunlight. His eyes were rimmed with dark circles, which he had tried to cover up slightly with concealer and so weren't as obvious. He had on a pretty nice outfit, though, and his hair was brushed. He made his way over to Izzy and sat down, smiling and placing down the sandwiches that he had brought for them.

Izzy looked at Jinyeon and smiled at the sandwiches he had brought, and then looked at his face properly and noticed his bloodshot eyes.
"Bad night?" She asked, wondering if he'd been out last night. She knew about Jinyeon and his friends sneaking off campus each week, but she didn't have any idea what they actually did. She did know that they stayed out till the early hours of the mornings sometimes, though.

Jinyeon nodded slightly, sighing and taking one of the drinks Izzy had brought.
"Did you see Orall before you came here?" He asked. If he knew where Orall was, he could calculate how long they'd have before they'd have to move or they'd get caught skipping lessons. He yawned into his hand and smiled a little.

Izzy nodded.
"Yeah, I saw him hanging around the kitchens. Got all the dinner ladies swooning over him again." She said with a laugh, shrugging slightly. She leant towards Jinyeon, resting her head on his lap and closing her eyes. "So how long we got?"

Jinyeon paused for a second to think. He knew Orall's usual round at this time of day, and needed to work out how long it would take him to cover this bit of the school.
"We have a good hour before we need to start moving." He says after checking the time on his phone, before taking a sip on the drink he'd just opened. He slid his free hand over her body as she led down on his lap, interlacing his hand with hers. "You can sleep if you want."

"If anyone here needs sleep, it's you." She says. "You're always like this. I'm worried about you, Jinny."

Jinyeon sighed rather heavily, squeezing Izzy's hand.
"I'm fine." He insists. He was always like this- always tired, always skipping lessons and always telling people that he was fine. And maybe he wasn't, but it was almost routine.

"I'm not going to tell you that I'm not okay. So stop trying." He says rather harshly, chewing on his bottom lip. "Like I said, you can sleep if you want."

Izzy rolls her eyes, taken aback slightly by his harsh tone, and rolls back over, closing her eyes and sighing.
"You know, it hurts me that you don't trust me to know what's up." She says, huffing a little and relaxing her body. Well, if he wanted her to sleep, she would.

"Whatever." Jinyeon mumbled, taking a sip of his drink and stroking her hand gently with his thumb as she rolled over. He couldn't stay mad at her for long, but he was definitely very annoyed. Why did it matter where he went, or what he did, or how he felt?
His head craned around to make sure Orall wasn't coming from any direction. Jinyeon knew his usual trail, but sometimes he diverted from the path.

Izzy took deep breaths as she started to drift off, forgetting about how worried she was for Jinyeon and that Orall was probably on the lookout for them and any other cares she had in the world right now, exchanging them for a calm slumber when she was supposed to be in class. And it was a nice sleep, for she had struggled to wake this morning.

Alex Orall had some duties to this school- to give knowledge of subjects he knew much about, and to make sure that every student was present to receive this knowledge. And this morning, just in lesson one, he had been given news that a sophomore and a junior had not turned up to their lesson. And so he had been checking all the usual places- the bathrooms, their dorm rooms, and now behind the gym hall. He knew why students wanted to skip classes- why would any teenager want to sit in those buildings for 6 hours a day? But he now valued his education, and he knew they would, too.
As Mr Orall popped his head around the corner, a small sigh of relief escaped his lips. Some students had managed to skip off campus in the past, and he could not go to find them when that happened. Luckily, Izzy and Jinyeon hadn't done this, and had hidden in one of the most obvious places. He shook his head and stood behind the two, waiting for one of them to notice.

As Jinyeon looked around, he noticed a small shadow cast over him and Izzy and looked up. And he cursed quietly to himself in his native tongue, for lo and behold, Mr Orall was stood right over the two of them. Had he known they were missing? It didn't matter now- they'd been caught. He shook Izzy's hand gently.
"Good morning, sir." He said, trying as best as possible to smile.
