Seok was glad to finally stretch his legs as he walked down the steps from the plane. It had been 12 hours since he had stood up, as he and Sehun had walked around a lot in their 7 hour layover in Shanghai, exploring the markets and such, and it'd taken a good two hours to get to Shanghai from Seoul. They had been staying in Seoul for a day or so, after a 5 hour train ride from their home county, Damyang, and it had given them just a taste of the homesickness that the next year would ensue. The air smelled different from home, and with each step he took, he started to feel even more ill.
"Sehunee?" He says, looking around as he walked into the air terminal. He had lost Sehun in the process of getting off of the plane, as they had been directed to different doors, and now he was inside he stood by a wall where people could freely pass by him whilst he looked for his friend.

Sehun yawned as he stepped off the plane, having lost Seok when the flight attendant directed him to a door in the middle of the plane. He was slightly bothered by this, but guessed it didn't really matter considering they were here now. He smiled at all of the flight attendants as they said goodbye and rushed through to the terminal to try and find Seok. He sighed in relief as he heard his name being called.
"Seokee!" He replied, running over to him as he spotted him by the wall. He was glad to finally stand up again.

"Ah, there you are." Seok says in their native language, sighing in relief and smiling as Sehun greeted him. "We should get through customs."
Seok gestured towards the line which was getting smaller now that the people from their flight had mostly gone through. He wondered how the school actually was, or if anyone spoke Korean. I mean, he doubted it, but the curiosity remained.

Sehun nodded and bit his lip, looking over at the line that Seok pointed to. He smiled slightly and made his way over, making sure to stay near his friend as he did so. He took out the passport and his student visa and stood behind an older Korean man in much smarter dress than himself and a briefcase for hand luggage.

Seok copied Sehun, taking out his passport and student visa and waiting beside him as the line got smaller. Soon, it was time for them to be checked, and he held the two items up, smiling with his lips pressed together so as to not seem to friendly. The American by the desk took a close look at the documents and took them from him, scanning them both at the desk and nodding after a second, handing them back to him and telling him to move along. He waited behind the barrier for Sehun.

Sehun held his documents up, mimicking what Seok did with a little smile. The person did the exact same thing, scanning the two pieces and sending him to Seok when he was satisfied. Sehun was getting hungry, but he knew that he had to wait a little longer before there would be anything to eat.
"Can we get our bags and grab a bite to eat?" He asked Seok in Korean, holding his stomach as it growled slightly.

Seok nodded almost too enthusiastically. He didn't want to spend the rest of the day in yet another airport, and so he followed the signs to the baggage area and looked at the almost empty conveyor belt as it took the luggage around. Finally, one of his suitcases went past, and he grabbed it quickly, pushing it out of the way to get the rest off as they came by. Soon, they had all four cases, and made his way out through Nothing to Declare, finding a vending machine and smiling to himself. He scanned the foods, sighing to himself as he realised there was no Pepero, and finally deciding on a Hershey's bar. Whatever it was, it tasted okay.

Sehun dragged his suitcases out behind Seok, noticing Seok's sigh and looking through the vending machine. Seok loved Pepero, and he had decided that he would have to buy him some for Pepero Day as it didn't seem like there would be any here. He patted his shoulder and headed outside to the parking bay, where many people held up signs for taxis. On one sign was their names in hangul, spelt slightly wobbly but correctly nonetheless. He smiled at the driver and shook his hand, bowing as he did so.
"Hello." He says, this time speaking in English, smiling.

Seok started to walk again with the strange chocolate bar in his mouth. Of course, he'd heard of it before- Americans weren't sparse in Seoul, and he visited quite often because of the family he had there. He had heard them murmur the brand before, but he'd never cared to search it up; the many flavours of Kit Kats and Peperos and Cow Candies were good enough for him. Amazon was going to become his best friend. Well, aside from Sehun.
"Hi." He says to the driver with his name and Sehun's on the card, smiling and bowing slightly. The driver led them to his car, and took their suitcases, loading them into the back and opening the door for them. Seok slid himself into the car, which was actually quite spacious, and strapped himself in, cuddling into door on the opposite side.

Sehun slid himself into the car after Seok, closing the door behind him and looking into the front, which had a sat-nav built into the radio screen. The driver had already set their destination into the machine, and the arrival time was around an hour from now. He looked over at his friend and smiled, knowing he was probably as tired as himself, and slid his phone out of his pocket, putting his headphones in and pressing play on 2NE1.

Seok smiled back at Sehun, yawning slightly and closing his eyes after checking the time. He had already decided that he was going to take a nap when they got into their dorm room, but catching up on some sleep now wasn't going to do him any harm. He trusted Sehun to wake him up if they stopped to get food or something.
"Tell me when we're almost there." He tells Sehun in a sleepy mashup of Korean and English, before getting comfy and falling asleep.

Sehun nudged Seok as the driver told him it would only be ten minutes, taking his headphones out. His sister had been texting him throughout the car journey, asking him how America was, even though he hadn't been in the country for long at all.

Seok opened his eyes slowly, stretching his arms out and yawning widely. He ruffled up his hair, looking over at Sehun. His stomach rumbled quietly and he wondered if they'd have any food available in the dorm house or just the general area. He at least needed kimchi, and he'd researched that there was an Asian oriental market around the area where he would be able to buy food from home if he didn't like any of the food here. He knew that he wanted to try the cuisine of America, though.
