All the dorm rooms at Berkeley start on the first floor as the ground level is the whole dorm common room with games tables etc.. Each floor has one "dorm room"- it's pretty much like a one-floor house. There are fully equipped kitchens, five bedrooms with ensuites (shower-only), a main bathroom with a large bathtub, a main room with a television and a sofa, a dining room and a small study with bean bags and low desks.
Floor one belongs to;-
Lee Kyung-Joo
Kim Seok
Byun Sehun
Kim Joonyeong
Li Cheung
The door is marked with the Ignitus house symbol- a flame. Each boarder has their own key to the main dorm and a second for their own dorm room- the second key does not open any other room. Everyone must be in their own dorm rooms by 10pm and lights go out at 11. Two teachers supervise each dorm house and live on the bottom floor.

Kyung-Joo led Kim Seok and Byun Sehun through the dorms and unlocked the door to the main dorm, looking over at one of the tables where some welcome packs had been laid out for the boys. "Yeah, they're for you. They have your keys." He says, walking straight past them and over to the stairs, running up to the first floor. He figured the boys would follow. He unlocked the dorm room on that floor, opening the door slightly and shouting inside. "Yo, Joonyeong!" |

Seok stepped inside, nodding when Kyung-Joo told them what the packs were for and sliding his off of the table. He had a quick flick through the pack before looking back at Sehun and nodding towards the staircase as he heard Kyung-Joo shout something. He headed up, looking as Kyung-Joo poked his head through the door and wondering what he was doing.

Joonyeong had been sat on his bed typing frantically on his laptop as he had a history essay due in tomorrow when Kyung-Joo called through their dorm. He never used the study room as it was just the two of them in the entire dorm, even though on the first day he had dived straight onto the squishy bean bags. He put his laptop down on his desk, knocking his cup of water but not so much so as to tip it over, and made his way to the door, looking at his friend's face poking through the doorway.
"Yes?"

Kyung-Joo rolled his eyes.
"Meet our new dormmates- Kim Seok and Byun Sehun." He says, opening his arms to present the new boys to his friend.

Sehun nodded at his friend, sliding his pack off of the table and taking the key out, placing it in his pocket where he knew he wouldn't lose it. He followed him up the stairs, walking past to stand where Kyung-Joo was now pointing and giving the boy inside the room a little wave.

Seok moved next to Sehun, loosening his grasp on his suitcase and giving the boy inside a little wave, scanning from his face to his feet quickly.
"Hey, I'm Seok." He said, starting to make his way into the room after a second of waiting.

Joonyeong waved at the boys outside of the door and nodded, standing to the side as Seok started to make his way in.
"Just Seok?" He asked, finding the single-syllabic name a little bit odd. Then again, he knew some people who didn't use their full names, or people who had unusually long or short names.

Sehun looked at the boy inside the room as he talked to Seok and bit his lip, taking his suitcase and following his friend into the main room.

Mr Orall gripped tightly on Li Cheung 's wrist, pulling through the dorm circle and into the Ignitus dorm block. He had finally been able to transfer the boy from Lexus after he'd been bullied for 3 consecutive weeks for being the only Asian in his room. As there was no space for him to move about Lexus, they'd had to move him into the spare room in Ignitus. He held onto his wrist because the boy had a reputation for troublemaking, and held a key for his room in his other hand. He closed the main door as soon as he was inside and let go of the boy, pointing to the staircase. "Take your stuff up, I'm going to make sure you get settled before I leave." |

Cheung mumbled something to himself rather ungratefully in Mandarin and tugged on his suitcase, dragging it up the staircase so that every last stair made a loud bump noise as it met the case's wheels. He looked at the room he was going to be staying in and wondered why one of the boarders was actually stood in the doorway, but didn't bother to question it and looked back for Mr Orall.

Mr Orall sighed as he heard each bump of the steps. Of course, that was something Cheung would do. He was a problematic child for the teachers, but they all believed they'd get him to graduation. He made his way to the stairs, following Cheung up and looking as Kyung-Joo stood in the doorway.
"Morning, Mr Lee. I know it's short notice, but you'll be gaining a fifth dormmate today. His name is Cheung. I expect you'll all be extremely welcoming of him- you've probably seen him around school." He said, gesturing to Cheung and nodding slightly before heading for the exit. He trusted Kyung-Joo and co. to watch over Cheung.

Cheung pushed back his hair and nodded slightly, smiling at the boy who acted in such a friendly way to him. He already liked it 10x more in his new dorm and he hadn't really been inside yet.
And so he took a few steps forward through the door, dragging his case in and walking down the hall past another boy. He didn't know exactly where to go, but it was set out like his old dorm so all's he needed to know was where he was staying.
