Joonyeong watched as another boy passed him, hearing the end of what Mr Orall told Kyung-Joo and wondering what had been so bad about his other room. Whatever, they'd be friends by the end of the week. He made his way to find Seok and Sehun, smiling as he realised they'd discovered the main room.
"We watch tv in here. Your rooms are down that hall." He says, pointing to a hallway. He needed to get back to his history essay, but he wanted to get to know the new kids in his dorm first.

Seok nods, looking around the room and then to where Joonyeong pointed out. He gripped onto his suitcase handle and started to drag it towards where his room was, before looking back at the boy.
"I'm sorry if you were busy when we came. You can go back to what you were doing, thanks for helping." He says with a charming smile.

Joonyeong nods. It was odd that Seok knew he was a little busy beforehand, but he didn't mind. He was glad that he had helped at least slightly. He turned around and made his way back to his bedroom, sitting up in his bed and pulling his laptop back onto his lap. He sighed when he started typing for his essay again, not really having any idea about what it was on.

Seok pushed the door open to an empty room and pulled in his suitcase, pushing it to the side and having a look around. The rooms were set out nicely, and he felt like sleeping as soon as he fell onto the cushioned bed. He slid off his jacket and hung it over the end bedpost before unzipping his suitcase, deciding it would be a good idea to unpack before he napped or did anything else in general.
One by one, he took out the neatly folded shirts, jeans of all colours, shoes, hats, everything. Seok thought of himself as a fairly fashionable person, and he had the wardrobe to prove it. He put them in the closet rather lazily, figuring he'd sort them out later when he was a bit more alert. Soon, the only things left in his bag were makeup bags and toiletries. Great, he didn't need them until this evening. He put on a pair of slipper boots and threw all his electrical devices onto his bed before leaving his room, closing the door behind him.
He walked into the main room and tried to figure out which way Joonyeong had gone, wondering if he'd sounded a bit harsh more than thankful earlier. He stood at his door and knocked, opening it slightly and popping his head through the crack.

Joonyeong was busy typing, just dragging out his sentences so he didn't have to actually move onto his next point, when Seok knocked on his door. He looked up from his laptop screen to see Seok's face poking through the crack in his door and gestured for him to come in.
"Hey." He says, smiling slightly. "Are you all unpacked?"

Seok made his way into the room, closing the door behind him as his slippered feet padded in. He nodded when Joonyeong asked if he was unpacked and smiled warmly.
"Yeah, thanks for helping me earlier. I hope I didn't sound too harsh." He says, scratching the back of his neck. He looked at Joonyeong's laptop and wondered if he was studying- I mean, Seok didn't start classes until Monday, but Joonyeong was probably loaded with work at this point in time.
"Can I help you with anything?" He asked, nodding towards the laptop.

Joonyeong shook his head when Seok suggested he might've been a little harsh earlier.
"No, not at all." He says, pushing a lock of hair out of his eyes that was irritating him. Joonyeong bit his lip when he nodded to his laptop.
"It's just a history essay. I don't really know what I'm doing. Only if you're alright at history."

Seok nodded and jumped onto Joonyeong's bed without really asking, sitting next to him and skimming through what he'd written. He thought to himself for a second, having never really written an essay in anything other than Korean before.
"You keep repeating yourself, you need to delete anything that has been said more than once or twice." He says, pointing out to some places where Joonyeong had dragged his point on. "And you need to counteract your first point with something that fights for the other side, so your argument is balanced."

Joonyeong nodded as Seok talked, watching as he pointed out certain parts of his writing and taking them out of the essay. He didn't care that the word count was going down- it felt as though Seok knew what he was doing, so he trusted his advice.
"Right, so I need to fight against my own argument?" He confirmed, turning his head to look at Seok and realising they were closer to each other than he'd thought. He flicked his head back.

Seok pressed his lips together when Joonyeong turned his head and nodded when he looked away.
"Yeah, but don't completely ruin it. Honestly, at this point, you need to try not to be biased- at the end, you give your opinion and reasons why." He says. "It's not history you seem to be struggling with. It's the essay structure."

Joonyeong laughed quietly to himself when he mentioned essay structure. He was always being pulled up about it.
"Thanks." He says, starting to type again. He was still speaking quite formally with Seok, and he wanted to be a bit more relaxed around Seok now they were dormmates.
"Can I speak with you like a friend?"

"Yeah, I don't mind." Seok says, slightly surprised that Joonyeong had asked. He really didn't mind, though- they lived together now, so why not? Seok yawned and rested his head on the back of Joonyeong's bed.
"Is there anything else you want to ask?"

Joonyeong shook his head. He had a pretty good idea of what he needed to write now, but at the same time he didn't really want to lose the company Seok brought.
"Are you tired?" He asked as Seok yawned. It had probably been a long day for him- he remembered the journey each year very well.

Seok nodded gently and started to get up from Joonyeong's bed.
"I don't want to make you uncomfortable and fall asleep. I'll go to my room." He says tiredly, putting a hand over his mouth as he yawned. "I'll see you at dinner."

Joonyeong waves as Seok starts to leave, nodding.
"Okay. See you at dinner." He says with a wide smile. "Sleep well."
